Now a days there are more then a few (DIY) do it yourself haircare sites on the internet, many offer great information too. Some of the advice I've read could have left my hair in need of professional help.In the salon I've witnessed some real disasters due to recommendations and directions gone wrong. So what I would suggest is never follow any one advise that is not a professional without doing your own research first. In this post I will touch on a few I've witnessed that could of used a little editing. revamping.
1. Baking Soda seems to be very popular among the DIY novice I've read it being recommended as a pre or no poo cleanser. The first time I heard about using baking soda in conjuction with haircare, was through an over the counter product called Organic Root Stimulator who had put together a kit. It seemed to have been promoted to provide an oxygen like stimulating effect to the scalp and follicles when used in conjuction to its other formulations. It appeared to have been designed to prepare the scalp for their other topical treatments. The recommendation is to use it once every 2 to 4 weeks. What I noticed was that this treatment can be very abrasive if you apply these treatments too close together. So I created a solid shampoo cake that offers a gentle senergy of coconut partnered with herbs, clay, and a pinch of soda which creates a moistening balance between the hair and scalp, it naturally relaxes the hair so that it becomes easier to manage with each gentle treatment. Reccomended use every 8 to 10 days.
2. Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) has become another regular no poo option, very popular among DIY haircare novices. I feel that the no poo hype stems from the SLS free craze buzzing around the natural hair community these days. Even though SLS shows up in major products like, body wash, toothpaste, dish washing liquid, and other everyday house hold products. No one wants to use SLS in there hair any more. If you ask me, SLS shampoos can work as an alternative to Hair Skin Vittles Gourmet Products LLC, Irish Moss liquid shampoo or Hair Skin Vittles Gourmet Products LLC, solid shampoo cakes, if you've used products that contain mineral oil, petroleum, bees wax, butters and gels that cause dryness. One long shampoo full of lather and 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinger added to a quart of warm water as a final rince, will work as a clearifyer that breaks down the heavy oil, and buildup those products may have caused. This should'nt leave your hair feeling dry. If you use a SLS free shampoo every day or it takes three or four latherings just to remove product build, then your using the wrong products and running the risk of stripping your hair of its natural oils and slip.
Maintaining a proper diet will result in overall optimum health. Using Hair Skin Vittles Gourmet Products LLC will help you achieve managable healthy hair ,scalp, and skin consistently because they contain ingredients rich in food grade essential oils and nutrients, like the ones you'll find in your most imperative nutients.

When it comes to hair care, everyone wants their hair to look , act, and feel presentable. This does not always happen though. Some days are just bad hair days, the days when you plop on a hat, swag on a scarf, or stuff your natural hair under a wig, sometime you just keep it simple by pulling your hair back in a pony tail and wear it that way until you can get to the salon, or find time to DIY do it yourself.
Now a days SLS gets a really bad rap because of its, shall we say high lather value. Truth is it is found in every day shower gels and even in most toothpaste. So it can't be that bad. What happens to the hair is it will dry out if it is shampooed often enough with a high enough PH product.
Weather your hair is naturally oily or your loading it up with mineral oil, bees wax, butters, petroleum, silicones, gels or moouses you might not be able to remove them compleatly without a SLS shampoo or some sort of clearifying agent.
SLS free shampoos are very gentle on the hair so don't expect them to remove build up produced by products that stay on the hair through rain and sleet with one or two latherings.
Leave - in conditioners act as a protection from all types of elements. They can act as a buffer if you often use moouse or gel to style your hair, which is sometime the only way to get and maintain certain looks.
They help protect your hair when you blow dry it, to produce a style that shows your full length, or just drying it because you don't like going out with wet hair.
Leave - in conditioners penetrate the hair shaft faster and easier then cream conditioners if you hairs prosity is well balanced enough to accept it.
